On the morning of June 19, Prof. Dhushy Sathianathan, Associate Dean of College of Engineering, California State University, Long Beach, visited the university and was received by President Qiao Jianyong. Prof. Qiao extended his warm welcome to the distinguished guest, proposed instructions on substantial cooperation between the two universities through student exchanges, mutual recognition of credits and other aspects and looked forward to the prospect for bilateral cooperation. Vice President Fan Xun inquired their discipline setting in College of Engineering specifically. Prof. Dhushy Sathianathan expressed his willingness to initiate cooperation between the two universities, and discussed solutions concerning possible challenges with relevant personnel at CUMTB.
