On November 18, the finals and the closing ceremony for the 8th Capital University Environmental and Cultural Season Debate were held at CUMT-Beijing. The theme of this Cultural Season was “environmental protection and green consumption”. About 300 people including FANG Li, Deputy Director of the Beijing Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau, ZHU Shuquan, Vice-president of CUMT-Beijing and student representatives of university environmental groups attended the meeting.

ZHU Shuquan made a speech on behalf of the undertaker, briefly introducing the development status and achievements of the University. This Cultural Season is a large student environmental activity with far-reaching influences in Beijing universities, which adheres to the concept of international environmental protection, promotes the development of universities in Beijing, improves environmental education and the students’ awareness of environmental protection through various colorful activities.
