In March, 2007, invited by the world-famous publishing groupElsevier,Prof. Dai Shifeng from CUMTB accepted the position of chief editor ofInternational Journal of Coal Geology.Prof. Dai has now been holding the position for 3 terms and will finish this term by June, 2017 according to the contract. Recently,Elsevierinvited Dai Shifeng again to be the chief editor of this international periodical with another three-year term.
