The result of the 16th Youth Geological Science and Technology Award hosted by Geological Society of China was announced recently. Liu Shouqiang, lecturer of the National Technical Research Center of Coal Mine Water Disaster Prevention and Control Engineering from CUMTB, won the Golden Hammer Award. He is the first young scientist among CUMTB and CUMT staff to receive this honor over the past twenty years.
