On the morning of January 8th, 2018, National Science and Technology Awards Conference of 2017 was held in Beijing. Three projects hosted by professors from CUMTB won National Science and Technology Awards, among which one was granted the second prize of National Technology Invention Awards, and the other two were grantedthe second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Awards. According to statistics from Science and Technology Development Center of China Ministry of Education, the number of awards won by CUMTB ranks 20th among national colleges and universities.
