On the afternoon of April 26, Chen Jining, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee, Mayor of Beijing Municipality, accompanied by Jin Wei, Secretary General of the People’s Government of Beijing Municipality, the related persons in charge of Changping District, Xu Xiaomin, Chairperson of the University Council, and President Yang Renshu, inspected Shahe Campus of CUMTB. Through the field inspection of the library on Shahe Campus, No.3 Teaching Building, residence halls, and Fengyuan Dining Hall, Chen Jining formed a deeper understanding of the difficulties and problems encountered by CUMTB in its course of construction and development. During the inspection, the leaders of CUMTB reported to Chen Jining on CUMTB’s “13th Five-Year” Plan, discipline construction, talents training, scientific and technological innovation, operation of Shahe Campus, as well as implementation of tutorial system for all undergraduates, etc.
