On May 27, the 2018 Chemical Engineering Principles Competition for Beijing College Students ended at Beijing Institute of Petrochemical Technology. CUMTB was awarded the first prize groups along with Tsinghua University, Beijing University of Chemical Technology, and Beijing Institute of Technology, with 2 CUMTB students winning grand prize, 2 first prize winners, 2 second prize winners, and 8 third prize winners. A total of 937 participants from 13 universities in Beijing participated in the competition, including Tsinghua University, Beijing University of Chemical Technology, China University of Petroleum-Beijing, and Beijing Institute of Technology.
