From June 13 to 14, the defense of Advanced Mineral Resources Development (AMRD) Joint Master Degree Programme hosted by Montanuniversität Leoben (Austria), TU Bergakademie Freiberg (Germany) and CUMTB was held on campus. This is the first English-taught master’s program of CUMTB, and the Joint Master’s Degree will be conferred to the students participating in this program from three universities, on condition that the participants pass the master’s thesis defense at CUMTB after their completion of the course learning each semester in each of the three universities. This year, 6 students (3 Chinese students and 3 international students) have completed this program. During their study at CUMTB, they attended the courses including long-arm mining, mineral processing, mine ventilation and so on, which are conducted by an expert team.
