As part of the practical teaching arrangements for the "Career Planning for University Students" course, our university held the 2023 University Student Career Experience Day event on April 22-23 at the South Plaza of the Shahe Campus, focusing on the theme "Explore Yourself, Create Infinite Possibilities, Experience Career, Paint a Colorful Life." This event will deepen career planning education for our students, helping them better understand themselves and explore career paths, enhancing career decision-making and action-taking abilities.

The Career Experience Day took the form of a large-scale outdoor challenge, incorporating elements of career planning into interactive activities to engage students and provide a meaningful experience. The event comprised four major areas: "Self-Exploration", "External Exploration", "Career Decision-Making", and "Career Action". It featured eight activity stations, including "Innate Talent", "Work Trio", "Career Guessing Game", "Mountain and River Tour", "Surrounding the Nervous Cat", "Pursuit of Bumper Cars", and "Career Minesweeper". Each station was supported by relevant career theories, guiding students to touch upon their career paths through various challenges. The event aimed to awaken awareness of career planning, guide students in recognizing themselves through practice, and clarify their career goals, laying a solid foundation for future professional development.

This event is integrated into the assessment of the "Career Planning for University Students" course, aligning with the implementation of the "Comprehensive Plan for Deepening the Reform of Education Evaluation in the New Era." The initiative aims to provide students with interactive activities that directly engage them and offer experiences and inspire action. It helps students enhance self-awareness, explore career options, and accurately identify career goals, ultimately boosting their competitiveness in the job market.

The Career Counseling Center for University Students will utilize feedback data and results from the Career Experience Day to provide more precise and high-quality career planning guidance and services for students. This comprehensive approach aims to elevate students' career planning abilities and contribute to their overall growth and development.
