Recently, General office of Ministry of Education published the selected list of 2014 National Key Talents Project. Prof. Zhou Hongwei from School of Mechanics and Civil Engineering is among the list and also awarded as the “Young and Middle-aged Experts with Outstanding Contributions”. National Key Talents Project aims at selecting and training high level young and middle-aged leading talents working at the forefront science and technology area, from professional and technical personnel in enterprises and institutions national wide, to fulfill the role of leading and supporting the leapfrog development of national science & technology major projects and key areas. In 2014, a total of 60 persons from universities and institutions directly under the Ministry of Education were selected into this project.
