Pro-Vice-Chancellor Hai-Sui Yu of The University of Nottingham, also Fellow of Royal Academy of Engineering was invited to visit our university on August 26. President Yang Renshu met with Prof. Hai-Sui Yu. President Yang extended a warm welcome to Prof. Hai-Sui Yu and introduced CUMTB’s achievement in scientific research, student cultivation and talent team building in recent years, especially in the development of rock mechanics and other subjects. President Yang also hoped that bilateral cooperation could be furthered in joint education of graduates and young and middle-aged teachers as well as scientific research on the basis of the established cooperation.
