On the morning of April 14, Dr. He Hong, Chief Representative of Beijing Office of Helmholtz-Gemeinschaft Deutscher Forschungszentren (The Helmholtz Association of German Research Centres, abbr. as Helmholtz-Gemeinschaf), visited CUMTB. Vice President Jiang Yaodong met with him.

　　President Jiang introduced the construction of disciplines and key laboratories of CUMTB, as well as the vital role of CUMTB in China’s higher education system and coal industry. He also prospected the outlook of exchange and cooperation between both sides in energy, resources and environment by jointly building laboratory. Dr. He presented the history, main structure, function and operational mechanism of Helmholtz-Gemeinschaf and put forward some proposals on how to carry out substantive cooperation and exchange for both sides.
