Recently, State Council Academic Degrees Committee of Ministry of Education issued The Decision by the State Council Academic Degrees Committee on the Approval of 2013 National Excellent Doctoral Dissertation. According to the decision, Dr. Wang Lifeng’s dissertation—Formation Mechanism of Jet-like Spike in Ablative Rayleigh-Taylor Instability in the Presence of Preheating was listed among “2013 National Excellent Doctoral Dissertation”. Dr. Wang was supervised by Prof. Li Yingjun from the major of hydro-mechanics at CUMTB.

　　His dissertation mainly involves the research on the instability of fluid under laser ablation, which is a vital fundamental topic to the inertial confinement fusion ignition of new energy in future.
