On the morning of November 19, Professor Jan C. Bongaerts, MBA and International Management of Resources and Environment Project (IMRE) Manager of Economics Department at TU Freiberg, accompanied by Liu Jiangxue, coordinator of International Resources and Environment Management Center visited our university. Jiang Yaodong, Vice President of CUMTB met with the delegation. He reviewed the previous cooperation between the two universities under the background of friendship between China and Germany, gave a brief instruction to the university development, subject characteristics and the important role it played in China’s education system and coal industry, and expressed the hope to support China’s industry and government with theory and technology through bringing in top talents for cooperation in resource management and green economy. Bongaerts introduced the work he had carried out as well as the current development of IMRE project, and shown his willingness to make more substantive cooperation by developing wider and deeper cooperation channels through this visit.
