On November 2, 2013, the 2013 College Student Robot Contest in Five Provinces of North China was held in Beijing. 10 delegations from School of Mechanical, Electronic and Information Engineering of CUMTB joined in the contest, winning the championship in four events together with several runner-ups. University leaders and the Academic Affairs Office have provided strong support to this contest. Under the meticulous guidance of both leaders and advisers from School of Mechanical, Electronic and Information Engineering, the 10 delegations have won the championship respectively in single, double and eight-member team robot dance and robot creative design, as well as many other awards.
