Recently, the Third National University Students Practice Work Competition in Mining Engineering hosted by the College Teaching Steering Committee of Mining Engineering of the Ministry of Education, and undertook by China University of Mining and Technology has ended successfully. The university has recommended five works for competition, one winning the first prize, two the second prize and one the third. The first prize is awarded to the “Mine Hoisting System Model” guided by the teacher named Wang Chunlai, (participating students: Yu Qiwei, Hu Xiaoliang, Zhao Fu, and Liu Xiaogang). The “Dynamic Physical Model of Goaf Administrative System” guided by associate professor Yang Baogui, (participating students: Gao Yun, Zhang Kaifang, and Yang Haigang) and the “Real-time Online Monitoring System on Rock Burst” guided by Wang Chunlai (participating students: Li Weiqiang, Liu Chang, Liu Chao and Li Changjiang) have won the second prize. The third prize is given to the “Forced Block Caving Method of Horizontal Deep-hole Breaking Ground” guided by associate professor Liu Hongtao (participating students: Liu Yanxiao, Li Shibo, Li Yanan and Cui Guojian).
