On the morning of June 19, Richard Porter, Director of International Programs, Sam Houston State University, U.S., together with Dr. John De Castro, Dean of College of the Humanities and Social Sciences, Dr. John Pascarella, Dean of College of Science, and Amber Li, international admission officer visited the university. The delegation was received by Vice President Jiang Yaodong. Prof. Jiang highly appreciated the achievements made in the innovative bilateral student exchange program between both universities and expressed his wishes for further cooperation in aspects of credit transfer, faculty exchanges and other areas. Richard Porter also expressed wishes for more in-depth cooperation and communication. Two deans from Sam Houston State University introduced their respective discipline setting and had a detailed discussion with relevant personnel in the potential collaborative fields.
