On the morning of June 25, Prof. Hong Haiping from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, U.S. visited the university and was received by Vice President Jiang Yaodong. Prof. Jiang summarized the university’s international exchange programs and cooperation between both universities on research, students and teachers exchange and the graduation thesis oral defense. Furthermore, Prof. Jiang spoke highly of Prof. Hong’s contributions to promoting cooperation between two universities. Prof. Hong highlighted the significance and influence of the cooperation programs for both sides. Both parties expressed their wishes for launching various collaborative programs and in-depth programs to further strengthen the cooperation and speed up the globalization of the two universities.
