Prof. Dai Shifeng has just received a congratulation letter from Prof. Isabel Suarez-Ruiz, President of The Society for Organic Petrology (TSOP), for his being successfully elected as the Vice President and the President-elect of TSOP, which is the result of voting of members from over 30 countries worldwide. According to the TSOP regulation, tenure of Prof. Dai as the Vice President and the President goes from 2013 to 2015 and from 2015 to 2017 respectively. It is reported that Prof. Dai is the first Chinese to enjoy such honor.
