On the morning of September 5, Dr. Chen Hong, Director of the Asian Management and Development Center at University of Illinois at Chicago visited the university. Jiang Yaodong, Vice President of CUMTB met with Dr. Chen, and introduced her the history of the university, its discipline setting, close link with the industry as well as the progress of international exchange and cooperation in recent years. He also extended the wish to strengthen cooperation with University of Illinois at Chicago by bringing in foreign experts and conducting student exchange programs. Chen Hong summarized the exchange and cooperative programs conducted in China by University of Illinois at Chicago in recent years, and expressed the willingness to make substantive cooperation with our university soon. After initial discussions, both sides achieved intent of cooperation on EMBA program, staff training and undergraduate exchanges.
