Recently, the result of “Beijing Outstanding Teachers” has been published. Prof. Liu Bo from School of Mechanics and Civil Engineering of CUMTB won the honorary title of “Beijing Outstanding Teacher”. Liu Bo is a professor of Geological Engineering, the national key discipline of the university, also Ph.D. supervisor, member of Mine Construction Expert Committee of Coal Industry Committee of Technology as well as standing council member of Sub-society for Soft Rocket Engineering and Deep Disaster Control of Chinese Society for Rock Mechanics and Engineering. He was also the winner of the 16th Sun Yueqi Youth Science and Technology Award, and was supported both by the Program for New Century Excellent Talents in University of Ministry of Education and by the Funding for Training Talents of Beijing.
