On the afternoon of May 7th, Martin Devenney, Senior Vice President of Calera Corporation from American Silicon Valley, together with Dr. Ryan Gilliam, Chief Scientific Officer, Ms. Fang Qian, their lawyer and Li Jie, Vice President of Peabody Investment & Development Business Services Beijing Co., Ltd. visited the school. Prof. Yang Renshu, Chairman of University’s Affairs Committee met with the delegation and extended warm welcome to their visit. He also introduced the university’s basic condition and current scientific research projects. Martin Devenney expressed his willingness to cooperate with our university on direct or indirect transformation of carbon dioxide into useful materials and explore the opportunity to conduct scientific and technological exchange and research projects.
