On October 26, the agreement signing ceremony of “Joint Postgraduate Training and Practice CBM Base” was held in Beijing. The establishment of the Base was initiated by China United Coal Bed Methane Co., Ltd. and joined by CUMT-Beijing and 9 other renowned research colleges and universities. Vice-President JIANG Yaodong signed the agreement on behalf of CUMT-Beijing.

Based on the strategic alliance platform of CBM industry technology innovation, “Joint Postgraduate Training and Practice CBM Base” was jointly built by China United Coal Bed Methane Co., Ltd. and 10 colleges and universities including China University of Mining and Technology-Beijing, China University of Geosciences-Beijing, China University of Petroleum-Beijing, China University of Petroleum-East China, China University of Mining and Technology, Chengdu University of Science and Engineering, Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, North China Institute of Science and Technology, Beijing University of Information Technology and the Southwest Petroleum University.
