On October 22, Professor HONG Haiping from Materials Department of the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology visited the University. QIAO Jianyong, President of CUMT-Beijing met with him, expressing appreciation to him for his outstanding contributions to the cooperation between the two universities, and awarded him the “Special Award by the President”. Professor HONG Haiping also gave students a campus talk about the 2 +2 Program between the two universities.
