On the morning of January 9th, 2017, the 2016 National Science and Technology Awards Conference was held in the Great Hall of the People. “Key theory and technology of longwall fully mechanized caving mining in steeply inclined thick coal seam” was granted the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Awards, with CUMTB as the first working unit led by Vice-president Professor Wang Jiachen.
