On August 4, the 2-day Forum on Green Development of Energy，Low-Carbon City Construction among experts from Cross-Strait, Hong Kong and Macao organized by China Association for Science and Technology opened in Beijing together with other academic exchange activities. More than 100 young scientists from Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan in the fields of coal and oil, energy and mining, hydraulic engineering, urban communications, and municipal construction, etc. had in-depth exchanges and discussions with the experts and scholars from such universities as Tsinghua University, China University of Mining and Technology-Beijing, the University of Hong Kong, Tongji University, Tianjin University, Nanjing University, Shandong University, University of Macao, National Chiao Tung University, National Cheng Kung University, Taiyuan University of Technology and China University of Petroleum-Beijing, etc.
