Recently, the National Energy Administration issued an announcement that the Research Center of Decision-making Science and Big Data of CUMTB had won the bid of Coal Department of National Energy Administration for its annual research project of 2018 “Research on Digital Coal Platform Construction”. Professor Xu Xiaomin, Secretary of the Communist Party Committee of CUMTB, is the person in charge of this project. The researches will be carried out to put forward detailed requirements and technical realization scheme of the coal industry data platform, to build a data-driven decision-making model based on the monitoring and early warning of the macro-micro operation state of coal industry, macro-control policy simulation, and evaluation and analysis of the policy implementation effect; to establish the information databases of the coal mines and major coal mining areas of the whole nation, and to expand the data resources related to the operation management of the coal industry and to establish the first state-level data aggregation platform of coal industry, so as to promote a more scientific macro control and a more precise governance of coal industry.
