Recently, Prof. JinKuilifrom CUMTB received the Reinhardt Thiessen Award at the 70th Annual Meeting of the International Committee for Coal and Organic Petrology (ICCP) held in Brisbane, Australia. It is the highest award given by ICCP to the scientists who have made significant achievements and outstanding contributions in the field of coal and organic petrology. With at most one winner each year, Prof. Jin Kuili is the first Chinese scientist to have received this award.
