From October 24 to 25, Prof. Ying Y Tsui, Associate Dean in charge of scientific research and internationalization of the Faculty of Engineering at University of Alberta, Canada, together withProf. Qingxia Liu working in the Clean Coal/Carbon and Mineral Processing Technologies (C5MPT) Center visited CUMTB. Vice President Zhu Shuquan met with the delegation. A discussion on detailed research cooperation and faculty visit was made between the delegation and the faculty representatives from the School of Resourcesand Safety Engineering and the School of Chemical and Environmental Engineering of CUMTB for better understanding of mutual interests in research cooperation. The delegation also gave a lecture on “New Progress in the Study of Mineral Flotation Theory and Technology”, and visited the State Key Laboratory for Coal Resources and Safe Mining.
