On the morning of October 31, Iain Watt, Vice President of University of Technology Sydney, together with Li Xinqing, CEO of Australia Education Management Group (AEMG), and Duan Yucai, Manager of International Affairs and Cooperation Department of AEMG, visited CUMTB. President Ge Shirong met with this delegation. Both sides extended their hope to actively promote the establishment of China-Australia Research Center by making use of their own advantages and links with industries and government departments; to jointly develop master and doctor programs through stable cooperative relations, so as to carry out long-term student exchanges and further promote teaching staff cooperation; and to open up a new era of international exchanges by gradually establishing brand specialties and carrying out special undergraduate courses on artificial intelligence, computer science and information engineering.
