On the morning of January 8, 2019, China’s State Science and Technology Awards ceremony was solemnly held at the Great Hall of the People by the CPC Central Committee and the State Council. Leaders of the Communist Party of China attended the meeting and awarded the prizes to the winning team representatives. Prof. Yang Renshu’steam, from School of Mechanics and Civil Engineering of CUMTB, won the Second Prize of State Technological Invention Award for the project “Safe, Efficient and Fine Blasting Technology and Equipment for Rock Roadways in Coal Mines” which was mainly completed by Yang Renshu, Yue Zhongwen, Li Qing, Li Yang, Guo Dongming, and Yang Guoliang.
