On May 4,People’s Dailypublishedthe“List of National Scholarship Winners forUndergraduates andJunior College Students”, among whichlistedJian Yaoyudie, a senior student from the School of Emergency Management and Safety Engineering.
The governmentestablishedthe national scholarship for undergraduatesand juniorcollegestudentsto reward the full-time outstanding undergraduate studentsincolleges and universities.After strict selection and evaluation, 60,000 outstanding undergraduatesand juniorcollegestudentswon the 2019 National Scholarships.The National Financial Aid Management Center selected110 outstanding representatives from the national scholarship winners recommended byuniversitiesandprovinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government, and cities separately listed in the state plan),andlisted their namesin thePeople’s Daily.
Since 2017, the representatives of nationalscholarship winnersrecommendedby ouruniversityto the National Student Financial Assistance Management Center of the Ministry of Education have been selected into the “List of National Scholarship Winners forUndergraduates andJunior College Students”and published inPeople’s Dailyfor consecutivethree years.
