Recently, Department of International Cooperation and Exchange (Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs Office) , Ministry of Education, officially announced the lists of Higher Education Young Teacher Award and the Funded Programs of the 17^thFok Ying-Tong Education Foundation for young Teachers in the Higher Education Institutions of China. Prof. Zhang Bo from School of Management won the third prize of the Young Teacher Award in the Higher Education Institutions.Two programs,“Modeling and Policy Analysis of the Impact of Climate Change on China’s Energy Supply and Demand” declared by Fan Jingli from the School of Energy and Mining Engineering and “Controllable Preparation of Diatomite-based Composite Nanofiber Membrane and Formaldehyde Purification Performance” declared by Sun Zhiming from the School of Chemical and Environmental Engineering, were approved by the Fok Ying-Tong Education Foundation for Young Teachers in the Higher Education Institutions. This year, the number of young teacher awards and funded programs of CUMTB hit a new high in history, ranking top among universities in China. The number of funded programs tied for second place in universities, which fully reflected the outstanding scientific research strength of the young professors at CUMTB.
