On July 18th,2020 CUMTB-UCL Joint Workshop on Sustainable Development was held on ZOOM online platform. Thisworkshop wasco-sponsoredby the school of Energy and Mining EngineeringatCUMTB and the Bartlett School of Construction and Project ManagementatUCL, and undertaken by Center for Sustainable Development and Energy Policy, School of Energy and Mining. Over 60 scientific researchers and professors from colleges and universities at home and abroad,including University College London and Tsinghua University,attended theacademicworkshop.

Zhou Hongwei, Dean of the School of Energy and Mining Engineering, delivered a welcome speech. He warmly welcomed the experts and scholars attending the workshop and briefly introduced the relevant information about the School. Maris Coffman, Dean of the Bartlett School of Construction and Project Managementat UCL made a fundamental overview of theBartlettSchool, and shared the latest research findings through presentation. In addition, Mi Zhifu, associate Professor from theBartlett School of Construction and Project Managementdiscussed the household carbon inequality in China with a presentation as well. The attendees had an in-depth exchange of views with the two experts on the profits and social benefits of sharing economy, the reform and optimization of energy structure, regional carbon emission inequality and other issues.
