From November 17thto 19th, the "the Sixth InternationalConferenceon Behavioral Safety Management" hosted by the Behavioral SafetySpecialCommitteeofthe China Occupational Safety and Health Association and jointly organized by China University of Mining and Technology-Beijing, China University of Geosciences-Beijing, and China University of Labor Relations, was held in Beijing.
The theme of the conference was "Behavioral Control Methods for Accident Prevention”. More than 320 participants, including scholars and experts from over 118 domestic and international universities, research institutions, and enterprises in the United States, Canada, Singapore, Australia, and the Greater China region, gathered to discuss the latest research findings and practical experiences in behavioral safety and safety management.
Wang Dexue, Chairman of the China Occupational Safety and Health Association, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. An Yu, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of China University of Mining and Technology-Beijing and Wu Xiong, Vice President of China University of Geosciences-Beijing gave speeches. Mr. Philip Gallant, an EHS consulting expert from Canada, and Wang Xibo, Director of the Engineering Division of the Department of Industrial and Material Science at the National Natural Science Foundation of China, also attended the opening ceremony and spoke.
During the two-day symposium, 80 experts and scholars discussed various topics, including the principles and practices of behavioral safety, as well as the application and effectiveness of behavioral safety in different industries. They shared their perspectives, theoretical research, application outcomes, and successful case studies in the field of behavioral safety and safety management. The participants actively participated in enthusiastic discussions, fostering an atmosphere of open and friendly exchange during the conference.
This conference represents the sixth high-level academic event in the field of behavioral safety management organized by mainstream academic institutions in China. Its objective is to continue advancing research in behavioral safety management to achieve world-leading standards. The conference aims to explore safety management methods that possess both theoretical value and practical significance, ultimately ensuring the safety and stability of society.
