Recently, the organizing committee of the China International 'Internet+' College Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition announced the list of winners for the 8th national finals on their official website. Our university won a total of 5 awards, including 1 gold, 1 silver, 2 bronze, and 1 finalist, achieving the best results in our history. The project 'Titan Tiger - Intelligent Robot Products and Core Components' won the gold medal at the national finals.

The number of registrations for this year's competition exceeded 14.5 million, with over 3.4 million participating projects, covering 111 countries and regions. This reflects the competition's goal of being 'more Chinese, more international, more educational, more comprehensive, and more innovative.' Our university attaches great importance to the organization of the event. Since the preparation for the 'Internet+' competition began in April of last year, under the unified leadership of the CUMTB party committee and administration, the Office of Academic Affairs, Student Affairs Office, Youth League Committee, the Graduate School, and National University Science and Technology Park have jointly organized the event. All schools and International Cooperation and Exchange Office, along with other relevant functional departments, cooperated and worked together. Leveraging the full-process mentorship system for undergraduates and the comprehensive coverage of innovation training for students, our university extensively explored innovative and entrepreneurial projects, aligned with high-level competitions such as 'Internet+' and the Challenge Cup. In this edition of the competition, a total of 157 projects registered, marking a record-high number of registrations. The university provided guidance in multiple stages and batches, with 32 projects advancing to the Beijing city competition, 16 projects reaching the on-site competition of the city competition, and 4 projects winning first prizes at the city competition, achieving a record number of awards at the city level.

In recent years, the university has focused on the construction of the 'Four News' (new technologies, new industries, new formats, and new models) and vigorously deepened the collaborative cultivation of entrepreneurial education. With a focus on competitions, the university encourages learning, teaching, and innovation, strengthening the integration of thinking and creativity, as well as expertise and creativity. Efforts are being made to create a new scenario for innovation and entrepreneurship education. Over the past three years, CUMTB students have accumulated 2 gold medals, 3 silver medals, 4 bronze medals, 1 finalist award, and 8 first prizes at the Beijing city level in the 'Internet+' National College Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition. The student awards cover the main competition track, the Red Tour track, and the international track, achieving success in both the main and Red Tour tracks with gold, silver, and bronze medals. In the future, the university will further strengthen the reform of innovation and entrepreneurship education, promote the continuous improvement of talent training quality, and drive the high-quality development of innovation and entrepreneurship education at the university.
