To deeply study and implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Party, implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, in accordance with the requirements of the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League and the National Students' Union on "Enhancing the Effectiveness of Social Practice Activities for University Students in the New Era and Deepening the Work of Youth League in Practical Education", the university enriched and carried out a series of educational activities under the theme "First Lesson of the New Semester". On the afternoon of March 10th, our university held the "'Integration of Self into the Greater Whole: Youth Devotion to the Motherland" 2023 Winter Break Social Practice Sharing Event at the Student Activity Center on the Shahe campus.

Deputy Secretary of CUMTB Party Committee, An Yu, attended the event and delivered a speech. The event was attended by student affairs secretaries and deputy secretaries of various schools (departments), as well as relevant personnel from the Student Affairs Office and the University Youth League Committee. The meeting was presided over by Sun Minghan, Secretary of CUMTB Youth League Committee.

At the meeting, student representatives from various schools shared the results of their winter vacation social practice. Students presented their social practice experiences from different perspectives, including corporate practice, cultural promotion, government affairs practice, community service, and public welfare service. The presentations were diverse and profound, fully showcasing the youthful vigor and achievements of our university's students.

In the next stage, the university will concentrate on showcasing the abundant achievements of our university's social practice and the rich experiences of the team, teachers, and students through activities such as evaluation and commendation as well as selecting exemplary cases. This is aimed at guiding young students to aspire to lofty ideals, possess a strong sense of ethics, develop significant talents, and shoulder great responsibilities during their social practice. The goal is for them to grow into a new generation ready to meet the challenges of national rejuvenation.
