CUMTB Holds the Unveiling Ceremony of 'One-Stop' Student Community

To deepen the study and implementation of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, enhance the systematization and refinement of party building and ideological and political work, and better serve the growth and development of students, China University of Mining and Technology-Beijing has established a “One-Stop” Student Community at its Shahe Campus. On May 4th, the unveiling ceremony of the “One-Stop” Student Community took place on the 9th floor of Building 8 at the Shahe Campus. An Yu, Deputy Secretary of the CUMTB Party Committee, attended the ceremony, delivered a speech, and was joined by secretaries and deputy secretaries in charge of student work from various schools (departments), relevant department heads, advisors and student representatives from the Shahe Campus. The ceremony was presided over by Bai Yunhe, Deputy Director of the Student Affairs Office.
The 'One-Stop' Student Community of China University of Mining and Technology-Beijing is situated on the 9th floor of Office Building 8 at the Shahe Campus, covering an area of 900 square meters. Emphasizing the principle of addressing students' needs, the university has equipped the community with 17 student activity rooms, allowing both students and faculty to flexibly reserve and utilize these open spaces. This initiative aims to streamline information access, minimizing the need for extensive student travel. To enhance the infrastructure and functionality of the student community, the university has established a variety of activity spaces, including face-to-face meetings with university and school leaders, the Academic Development Center, Academic Guidance Center, Peer Tutoring Center, Student Service Center (Student Post Office), Party Building Activity Center, 'Pomegranate Seed' Salon Activity Room, National Defense Education Base, Mentor Meeting Room, Ideological and Political Teachers' Seminar Room, Subject Competition Group Discussion Room, Training Room, Private Counseling Room, Shared Meeting Room, Grassroots Youth Organization Service Center, Youth Volunteer Service Center, Student Community Service Center, University Art Guidance Center, Scientific Research Innovation and Social Practice Guidance Center, New Media Activity Room, University Activity Service Center, and Graduate Student Activity Service Center. These spaces aim to integrate offline 'One-Stop' service halls with the online 'One-Stop' student community system.
