The national finals of the7^thChina International College Students "Internet+" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competitionwere held at Nanchang University from October 12^thto 15^th. After intense competition, China University of Mining and Technology-Beijing won the Silver Prize in the national finals with two projects: "Zhongkuang Positioning - Leader in Ecological Restoration Monitoring in Mining Areas" and "Qingdan - Smart+Service Vanguard for Community Elderly Assistance in the Post-pandemic Era".

The 7^thChina International College Students "Internet+" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition is jointly organized by Ministry of Education and eleven other ministries, as well as provincial-level governments. The theme of the 7^thcompetition was "I Dare to Venture, I Can Create". It attracted participation from 4,347 institutions from 121 countries and regions, with over 2.28 million projects and more than 9.56 million participants registered. This competition greatly boosted the enthusiasm for innovation and entrepreneurship among university students, fulfilling the goal of hosting the event to be "more Chinese, more international, more educational, more comprehensive, and more innovative".

CUMTB has been actively exploring competition projects through various means, leveraging its strengths in "Double First-Class" disciplines. This approach encourages interdisciplinary collaboration, optimizes internal resources, and strengthens inter-university cooperation. Over the past three years, our students have achieved impressive results in national competitions, including 1 gold medal, 2 silver medals, and 2 bronze medals in the national finals, as well as 4 first prizes in Beijing competitions. Additionally, our university has been awarded the Outstanding Organization Award in the Beijing competition zone once. Through these competitions, our university integrates ideological and political education, professional education, and innovation and entrepreneurship education, promoting comprehensive enhancement of students' qualities and capabilities. We vigorously promote coordinated education in innovation and entrepreneurship, tapping into the potential of student innovation and entrepreneurship training projects, leveraging the role of the Student Innovation Center platform, and creating a vibrant innovation and entrepreneurship atmosphere. This effort contributes significantly to cultivating outstanding undergraduate talents at our university!
