Recently, President Liu Bo met with Professor Chul B. Park, a foreign academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, as well as a fellow of numerous other prestigious institutions, including the Canadian Academy of Engineeringand the Academy of Science of the Royal Society of Canada, the Korean Academy of Engineering and the Korean Academy of Sciences, and the Academia Europaea. Representatives from the Office of thePartyCommittee, Department of Human Resources,International Cooperation & Exchange Office, the Inner Mongolia Research Institute of CUMTB, and School of Chemicaland Environmental Engineering attended the meeting.

Liu Bo extended a warm welcome to Academician Park for his visit to the university for cooperation and exchange, and expressed heartfelt gratitude for Academician Park’s support for the development of the university and the research institute in recent years. He introduced the development history, basic situation, and educational characteristics of the university, highlighting the strong alignment between Academician Park's research interests and the university's relevant disciplines. He expressed hopes that Academician Park’s team would actively contribute to scientific research, talent cultivation, social services, and international exchanges at the university.

Prof. Park expressed his sincere gratitude for the strong support from the uniersity and the research institute. He introduced his team’s work plan for 2025, which includes specific progress arrangements and expected outcomes related to technological breakthroughs, team building, and platform applications. He stated that the research team aims to achieve positive progress in high-quality utilization of energy resources, further enhancing the influence of the university's related disciplines.
