On March 7, on the eve of the 115th International Women's Day, the Shahe Higher Education Park held the "Wisdom & Women in Science: Leading the Way in Technology Volunteer Event". Associate Professor Cao Ying from the School of Mechanics and Civil Engineering at our university participated in the event and was honored with the title of "The Most Beautiful Scientific Worker in Shahe Higher Education Park". A total of 13 female scientific workers from various universities were recognized at the event, spanning fields such as aviation & aerospace, next-generation information technology, new materials, and international communication.

Cao Ying, Ph.D. in Architecture, is an associate professor and master's supervisor at the Department of Architecture, China University of Mining and Technology (Beijing). She has long been dedicated to research and design practice in rural revitalization, conservation and utilization of mining heritage, and urban renewal in mining cities. She has presided over multiple provincial and ministerial-level teaching and research programs, led over 30 projects in architectural design and planning, published more than 30 academic papers in core journals such as SCI, EI, and Architectural Journal of China, and authored one monograph.
