From August 30 to September 2, 2024, the 2024 Beijing Number Theory Conference (The 9^thNational Number Theory Conference) was held at China University of Mining and Technology (Beijing). Professor Feng Keqin, Chair of the Academic Committee of the conference and former Dean of the Department of Mathematics at Tsinghua University, Vice President Cui Ximin of China University of Mining and Technology (Beijing), and over 200 experts and scholars from prestigious institutions such as Tsinghua University, Shandong University, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Tianjin University, Nanjing University, and others specializing in number theory-related fields attended the conference. The opening ceremony was presided over by Li Zaixing, Dean of the School of Science at China University of Mining and Technology (Beijing).

During the conference, 30 academic presentations were held in the "Analytic Number Theory & Combinatorial Number Theory" and "Algebraic Number Theory & Algebraic Geometry" parallel sessions, which took place in Multimedia Classrooms 209 and 210 of the teaching building, respectively.

The National Number Theory Conference is the largest academic exchange event in the field of number theory in China. The 2024 Beijing Number Theory Conference (The 9^thNational Number Theory Conference), hosted by the School of Science at China University of Mining and Technology (Beijing), aims to promote academic exchanges and cooperation in the field of number theory, facilitate the development of mathematics as a discipline, and provide a platform for participants to present research findings and exchange academic ideas. Additionally, the conference focuses on the application of number theory in other disciplines, exploring new avenues for interdisciplinary collaboration.
