Recently, the national finals of the 7thNational Chemical Engineering Experiment Competition came to an end at Tianjin University . Under the guidance of instructors Ma Jingwen, Chang Zhibing, and Cao Junya, the team comprising Hu Mingwei, Wu Nianqing, and Yang Yujing from the School of Chemistry and Environmental Engineering competed fiercely and ultimately won the Special Prize for the North China Region and the First Prize at the national level, setting a historical best record.

The National Chemical Engineering Experiment Competition is one of the competitions listed in the National College Discipline Competition Rankings and is one of the most influential events in chemical engineering disciplines, with the largest number of participating universities and students. Our university, along with 84 other teams from higher education institutions such as Tianjin University and East China University of Science and Technology, stood out from 523 teams formed by chemistry and chemical engineering students from over 350 universities across six regions in China and successfully advanced to the national finals. The national finals of the 7thNational Chemical Engineering Experiment Competition were held at Tianjin University from August 8 to 11. The competition covered three parts: principles of chemical engineering theory, simulation operations and analyses of chemical engineering units, and chemical engineering principles experiments, with evaluations based on the overall scores of team members. Our university's team fought tenaciously and ultimately achieved the national first prize with outstanding results.

The competition received strong support from both the university and the school. The team leader for the national finals was Ma Jingwen from the School of Chemistry and Environmental Engineering, and the team's instructors included Ma Jingwen, Chang Zhibing, Cao Junya, Zhang Xianglan, and Cai Weibin from the same school.
