At the forum, Han Shangfeng reviewed the University’s history and briefed participants on its achievements in recent years as well as the development philosophy of “Upholding Our Mission, Forging New Ground, Promoting Transformation and Upgrading”. He pointed out that alumni are evaluators of the University’s education quality, participants, builders and beneficiaries of its development, and also important strategic resources and a key channel for the University’s open education. Adhering to the working philosophy of “Caring for alumni, serving alumni and serving society”, the University keeps strengthening its alumni service system and rallying the strength of alumni at large.
Han Shangfeng introduced that the University has recruited and trained over 430 MPA students in the Greater Bay Area, who now work across various fields of public administration. Rooted in the Special Economic Zone and committed to grassroots services, these alumni fulfill their duties and make remarkable achievements in diverse sectors, embodying the spiritual trait of “Diligence in Learning and Practice” cherished by CUMTB members with concrete actions. He noted that this visit to Shenzhen for the conference offers an opportunity to collect alumni feedback on the University’s MPA programs. He sincerely invited alumni to offer suggestions for the high-quality development of the University’s teaching, research, social service and other undertakings.
Alumni representatives spoke actively, expressing gratitude for the education they received from their alma mater and the school. They shared what they had learned during their studies and their career development, and put forward suggestions for the University’s development in the 15th Five-Year Plan period. The forum enjoyed a warm atmosphere. The alumni pledged to continue paying attention to and supporting the alma mater, carry forward the CUMTB spirit in their respective posts, and contribute to the high-quality development of the University.
