On October 29, the annual award ceremony (2014) of Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation was held in Diaoyutai State Guesthouse (Beijing). Liu Yandong, Member of Political Bureau of CPC Central Committee and Vice Premier of State Council, Chen Zhu, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of NPC as well as Wan Gang, Vice Chairman of the CPPCC and Minister of Ministry of Science and Technology attended the ceremony and awarded winners. Prof. He Manchao, Academician of Chinese Academy of Science won 2014 Science and Technology Progress Award of Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation. This year, a total of 52 scientists and experts were awarded, among whom two received “Science and Technology Achievement Award”, 36 received “Science and Technology Progress Award”, and 14 received “Science and Technology Innovation Award”. The number of scientists and technologists that have ever been awarded by Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation has reached 1100 in the past two decades.
