On November 16, 2014 Northern China (five provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions) Undergraduate Robot Contest was held in Beijing. Nine teams from CUMTB School of Mechanical, Electronic & Information Engineering competed in this contest. Among them, five teams took home 1 first-prize award, two second-prize awards and two third-prize awards. In total there are more than 500 teams, including over one thousand students hailing from 50 universities located in five provinces and municipalities and autonomous regions such as Tsinghua University, Taiwan Chienkuo Technology University, Peking University, China University of Mining and Technology-Beijing.
