On the afternoon of Jan.7, the CUMTB Faculty Cadre Conference was held in the academic hall of the International Exchange Center. Authorized by Minister of the Ministry of Education Yuan Guiren, Wang Liying, leader of Discipline Inspection Team in Ministry of Education governed by Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the CPC and member of the party committee of MOE, announced the decision on reshuffling the leadership of CUMTB and made an in important speech. First Deputy Secretary of Beijing Municipal Commission of Education of the CPC, Liu Jian, attended the conference and made a speech. The conference was hosted by Guan Peijun, head of the Department of Personnel of MOE. Qiao Jianyong, Yang Renshu and Xu Xiaomin also made speeches successively at the conference.

　　According to the decision of MOE, Xu Xiaomin was appointed as Chair of the University Council, Yang Renshu as President of CUMTB, Fan Xun, Sun Jiping, Jiang Yaodong and Wang Zhongqiang as Vice President. Meanwhile, Yang Renshu was dismissed from the position of Chair of the University Council and Qiao Jianyong was removed from the position of President of CUMTB for other assignment.
