On the afternoon of March 13, Iain Watt, Vice President of the University of Western Australia (UWA), together with delegates from AEMG (Australia Education Management Group), including Li Xinqing, CEO, Wang Jing, Director and Liu Hongyan, Manager of International Affairs Department visited CUMTB. President Yang Renshu received the delegation.

 　　President Yang introduced the situation at CUMTB that great importance has been attached to the internationalization of the student source, teacher quality, scientific research project and other aspects. He also expected that AEMG could act proactively as a bridge between the University of Western Australia and CUMTB and help enhancing and deepening bilateral cooperation so as to promote talent training, faculty team building as well as the level of scientific research. Professor Iain Watt made an introduction to the global orientation of UWA and expressed the desire to further deepen the cooperation with CUMTB by jointly implementing Plan Columbus and other projects funded by Australian Government.
