On March 15, 2014, project of “Distribution and Enrichment Mechanism of Harmful Elements in Coal and Related Environmental Pollution’s Prevention and Treatment” listed in National Basic Research Program of China (National 973 Program) was inaugurated in Xijiao Hotel, Beijing.

　　President Yang Renshu of CUMTB introduced the basic condition of the university and indicated that CUMTB, as a supporting organization, will organize and implement the project conscientiously and offer all possible supports of manpower, material supplies and financial resources according to the management requirement of National 973 Program raised by Ministry of Science and Technology.

　　Professor Dai Shifeng, Chief Scientist of the project gave a comprehensive introduction to the overall research plan, goal and key scientific issues to be solved, etc. He also made specific arrangements of the management and operation of the project.
