On January 11th, the university held the Annual Conference on Undergraduate Education to comprehensively summarize the undergraduate teaching work of the university in 2012. University leaders including Yang Renshu, Qiao Jianyong, Sun Jiping, Fan Xun, Jiang Yaodong, Wang Zhongqiang and Zhu Shuquan attended the meeting.

Professor Qiao Jianyong, President of the university, made a speech. After giving a full affirmation to the undergraduate teaching work of the university in 2012. he required that emphasis of the teaching work in the next stage should be put on implementation, mainly the implementation of the new training program, and all work should be truly carried out by grass-roots teaching organizations like departments and teaching & research sections. He also pointed out that teachers should fully dedicate themselves to teaching and promote undergraduate education to a new level.
